Biography

I started photography about 6 months ago and I only do it in my spare time.So I haven't won any prizes (yet) and I haven't published any photos in exhibitions.

I have always liked artistic images but I have never tried to create them myself until I bought my first camera(the brand and model are not important,I guess).Ever since,I have been trying to learn as much as I can about photography.The best way to learn something is by looking at the photos of those who are better than you.I have tried to 'copy' some of their photos at the begining,but,as I started to evolve,I have manage to create some rather unique photos,which can define my style.

My favourite kind of photography is black and white.Black and white photos have an unique charm.They can hold some unique emotions and can express more than 1000 colours.Also,when you're shooting in black and white you have to be very careful at the composition.It is rather hard to create some artistic images with only gray tones and contrasts but when you do manage to create them,you feel very happy.

There are two types of compositions I like the most.The first type is minimalism.I just love to photograph a lonely person walking on the snow,for example,or some simple winter compositions(as you can see in my portofolio).It's true,I haven't had the time to create so many photos of this kind but I guess that will change in the near future.The second type of composition are desolating places,with sad people,dramatic skies and destroyed buildings.Although I am a very optimistic person,I love to create feelings of loneliness,desolation and other sad,deep feelings that make you think about the purpose of this world and the human destiny in society.

At this moment,my favourite photographer is Michael Kenna.I love his minimalist and very emotional photography.

For me photography is a way to escape from this world whenever I want to.It's a way to show general human emotions,not necesarly my emotions.I hope I will be able to travel more in the future and I hope I will be able to create only emotional photographs,that will make anyone ask himself a question about his existence.
