I have always been a dreamer but at the same time grounded, with my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground I try to take the viewer into another world. The world of the human imaginary. Do you ever get the feeling like you belong to another place, another time... I think there are parts in each and every one of us that come from somewhere else. Through my art I try to express the beauty and the mysteriousness of that somewhere else. Sometimes when I take a picture, what I'm going to do with it is all well though of, but sometimes the picture itself transports me to another place. I dream and phantasise my images and when you look at them I hope it does the same to you. "Robert Cormier"
