When did yur passionate involvement into the lens world start and what was your first "Eureka! I have found it!" sensation of this is it for my lifes work.?
Well my answer to your question is simple, I´ve started for about 4 years ago with the feeling that I wanted to create something new, like making pictures that looked somewhat like paintings and so it started. But I have still not found the sensation for my lifes work. I´m still in my early years, and still learning & climbing up "the ladder of fame & glory" !
With people like Helyn Davenport & Yourself around, doing such a great work promoting artists like you do.........well it just makes it worth doing..... thanks for that.
Well,Rene, your approach to lens-painting ra has certainly captured the essence you desired! Are your nudes posed or captured in a flash of the MODELmoving second?
Well the answer to that question must be : Both !!
Do you set a specific amount of time to devote to your photography or do you "wing"it? Or,Does the time alloted interfer with your personal life?
I use the most of my sparetime working with my photos, I just love creating something !!
Rene, Is your background in the artistic or technical world?
I´m a salesman, I sell commercials !!
What kind of gear do you use, photogear scanner and printer gear?
I use my beloved Canon Eos 3, with Sigmas Aspherical 28-105 mm, and my 19-35 mm. My scanner is a Canon Scan FS 2710. Epson Stylus Printer 1200.
If you could offer 2 tips of advice to the average as far as how to achieve the rich colors and striking compositions that you achieve, what would they be? (Okay I recognize that's a loaded question--mostly I'd just love a couple of quick tips for novice/amateur types--maybe a scanning tip, an image processing tip, a printing tip, a shooting tip--could be anything.
For me the Photography is art, and when I work, I´m inspired by my friends who most of them happens to be painters (oil on canvas) ! Now I can´t paint, my fingers are just not right for it. So I thought well I want to create so here I went into the world of photo, and created my own "paintings" !! So if I shall give you a Tip, well it must be think different, go right when anyone else goes left. Forget technique, forget flash and modern equipment, the picture is inside you. It just needs a way to come out !
