Auction Photo Art Gallery
Pixiport is presenting a series of auctions of items by selected photo artists and artists.
Auction Participation
By participating as a bidder, it is understood that you have read and bidders will abid by these guidelines, and bidders are expected to adhere to them accordingly.
General Bidding and Auction Guidelines
In order to bid in an auction, you must first register with Pixiport. There is no charge for registering. On every item in an auction, a minimum bid and a minimum increase is set by the seller. Bids will not be accepted as a lower bid than either the opening bid, or the current bid plus the minimum increase. If an inappropriate bid is placed, a bidder will be notified immediately that their bid has not been accepted, and is provided with a form to correct the bid. Any current high bidders who are overbid at this time will receive notification by email.
Pixiport Auction is absolute. The laws of Florida, USA govern these auctions. English is the determining language for these auctions.
Ending Dates
Each auction will have it's own ending time posted in the bidding form. The bidding time is also displayed on this form. Auctions end automatically at this posted time.
Notifications are sent out to the winning bidders. At this point the buyer and Pixiport must make arrangements between each other. Pixiport has final word and determination on any/all disputes.
Buyers Responsibilities
By placing a bid, you are legally and ethically bound to purchase the item should you be the highest bidder at the end of the auction. Fraudulent bids are not tolerated, and any appropriate legal recourse available will be taken.
Shilling
It is directly in violation of the policies of Pixiport.com to manipulate the price of an item through the use of third party bidding.This will not be tolerated, and in the event of direct evidence of this activity, the bidder will be disqualified immediately from Pixiport Auction.
Pixiport.com reserves the right to deny bidding privileges to any person, without specifying a reason.
Payment
Billing will consist of an Email invoice generally sent within 24 hours of auction close, detailing the art auction item won, and associated costs.
Buyers pay shipping and insurance costs. Unless otherwise stated in the item's description, shipping costs are assumed to be via standard US postal service or UPS within the continental US. Insurance is assumed to cover Pixiport's sale price of the item. International buyers are reminded that they are responsible for any local tariffs, duties or surcharges in addition to shipping and insurance costs. Also, International shipping costs for "over-size" items such as paintings are often substantial.
The instant the auction results are published, Buyer receives a simple "Congratulations" email. Within 24 hours, Buyer receives Pixiport's Invoice with the Item Number and Auction Price. Buyer emails Pixiport immediately indicating the preferred shipping address and any specific delivery instructions.
Pixiport emails Buyer with the full invoice price for the item including shipping & insurance costs.
Buyer pays Pixiport within (7) seven days by Certified US funds, check or money order for the full invoice price payable to

Good payment received, Pixiport.com ships item or instructs Seller to ship the item.
If payment is not received within the above specified timeframe (7) seven days, the auction item will be awarded to the next highest bidder.
