I come to PixiPort as a child among scholars, ready to learn new and exciting things. I have been welcomed warmly with open arms. It is an honor to be among some of the most talented people I have ever seen. Helyn has taken me under her wing and is gently pushing me to be more than I ever thought I would be. When she asked me for my Bio I cringed. It consists of 23 years of marriage. 3 great children and a grand daughter. All very great accomplishments but hardly a photographers Bio : ) Then She told me to just write what my "Vision" is. Like any artist I suppose I want people to actually LIKE my Photos. More importantly I want my photos and my art to leave an impression. I would like it to stand out enough that the next time there's an awesome sunset or a child playing in the leaves they don't just keep on with mundane activities, they actually stop and soak it all in. I want them to see the world as I do, with all of the possibilities.

My mind NEVER stops taking pictures. No matter what I'm doing in the back of my mind I'm thinking about all the different angles, textures, and infinite opportunities to capture forever that moment in life. To keep it alive always. In a simple Photograph. My walls are literally covered with pictures of my kids, grandchild, friends, and my art. On my walls I have captured time and MANY precious moments.

I love to look at things from a different view or perception. High speed causes blurred backgrounds but crystal clear objects; always been a favorite of mine. I love Photography because it is always changing ... for me at least. I never stop learning or become bored with it. I love to express myself through art and pictures. No matter what the picture, I want it to touch your soul. Isn't that what art is really about?
