The first annual Pixiport Photography: Art in Focus Expo opened Friday evening, October 4th, at the Gold Leaf Gallery in DeLand, Florida. Seven of the artists showcased in the Expo were on hand for the opening reception. The event was well attended and a silent auction was held to benefit the local high school photo arts program. Several of the artists donated work for this effort. The Expo continues through Sunday the 20th of October. The local Busines and Professional Womens Association is holding a wine tasting at the Gallery on Friday, October 18th creating another special event showcasing this great collection of photo art during the Expo. |
